Outside Food Policy:
To ensure the safety and well-being of all children, Little Hands Early Learning Center follows strict nutrition guidelines and manages food allergies and dietary restrictions.
Center-Provided Meals: Our center provides a variety of nutritionally balanced, high-quality foods each day. Our meals and snacks are designed to meet or exceed the needs of the children and USDA CACFP food or drinks.
Restrictions on Outside Food: To maintain the integrity of our nutrition program and to manage food allergies, outside food is prohibited from entering the building. We ask that parents DO NOT send their children to school with outside food or drinks unless discussed otherwise. It will be discarded or stored away until departure time.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be made for children who have specific dietary needs, allergies, or cultural dietary practices. In such cases, parents must provide a doctor’s note and discuss arrangements with the center director.
Special Occasions: For birthdays and special events, parents wishing to bring food must consult with the center director in advance to ensure compliance with our health and safety standards.
**We seek and encourage parents to cooperate in adhering to this policy to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children.**
